JD of Manager - Record to Report (R2R)

1.Own the Record-to-Report process, including journal postings, reconciliations, and monthly closures.

2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

3. Manage GL accounting, expense accruals, and inter-company reconciliations.

4. Drive automation initiatives to streamline accounting and reporting workflows.

5. Handle direct and indirect tax compliances, including TDS, GST return filings, reconciliations, and tax audit schedules, ensuring timely submissions and accuracy.

6. Prepare and review MIS reports, schedules, and audit deliverables

7.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A, Treasury) for seamless month-end closing.

8. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

9. Support integration and process improvements using Zoho Books, Excel, and other automation tools.

Who You Are

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in startup / fast-paced business environment.

2. Strong understanding of R2R processes, accounting principles, and month-end closing.

3. Proficiency in Zoho Books / Zoho Finance Suite preferred

4. Advanced Excel and working knowledge of automation tools (Zoho Flow, Power Automate, or Apps Script).

5. Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy

6.Self-starter attitude with ownership, accountability, and adaptability.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
