Data Analyst Job Description : - We are looking for a passionate Data driven Individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. - You should have the ability data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Running experiments is a key way to check hypothesis and ensure that the changes are in the right direction. The interns will also be suggesting, conducting and evaluating statistical A/B experiments. Day-to-day Responsibilities : - A day at work in this profile involves figuring out areas of growth and optimization within the application, using data to find solutions and communicate effective and actionable insights to the team. - The insights we come up with are implemented and put into production at a fast pace by the development team to identify their impact. We have interesting problems like optimizing Games winning monetary distribution, figuring out optimal reward bonuses for user retention and engagement, building a skill-based player matchmaking algorithm to ensure gaming is not too easy nor too difficult for our players etc. - Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports - Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality - Acquire data from various data sources and maintain database - Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets - Working parallel with the founders and the management on various projects to give meaningful insight of various trends/understand user behavior patterns etc. - Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Preferred Requirements : - A learning attitude, curiosity and enthusiasm for working with data and readiness to get their hands dirty - Strong background in Databases/Data Mining or having worked on Data projects in the past - Strong logical, mathematical and analytical abilities - Past experience in working with SQL or other databases - Understanding data visualization and story-telling, knowledge of visualization software such as Tableaus
