Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - South

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Regional Sales Manager - South to lead sales operations across South India (Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distribution management, team leadership, and strategic market expansion in the Toy or Baby/Kids product segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets and ensure YOY growth for the South India region
- Expand and manage the distribution and retail network across assigned states
- Identify, appoint, and manage Distributors and Direct Dealers in the region
- Design and implement effective secondary sales schemes and promotional strategies
- Train counter sales staff to enhance product knowledge and selling skills
- Increase brand visibility and improve share of shelf at retail outlets
- Monitor and guide the regional sales team to meet performance expectations
- Evaluate team members and ensure continuous development through coaching and training
- Address market-related challenges with a strong customer-centric approach
- Provide strategic feedback and market intelligence to support decision-making
- Ensure timely submission of reports and maintain accurate sales data using MS Office/CRM tools
- Manage receivables efficiently and ensure collections are within defined norms
- Travel extensively within the region for market visits and relationship building
- Represent the brand portfolio professionally, ensuring premium positioning
- Take a hands-on approach by working closely with the field team to drive business

Required Skillsets:
- Proven experience in regional sales and distribution management
- Strong understanding of FMCG/Consumer Product sales cycles, preferably in Toy/Kids/Baby Products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop field sales teams
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Strategic thinking combined with execution capability
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation and relationship management abilities
- Exposure to merchandising, branding, and retail marketing activities
