WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?
At Wholsum Foods, we're building brands that make nutritious food exciting and accessible for all.
We're looking for a Category Brand Manager to lead the brand thinking and execution for one of our core product categories.
This role is a unique blend of consumer insight, brand storytelling, and business-first execution.
You'll work closely with the Category Head to shape the category strategy - while owning the brand voice, content, packaging, and communication across all touchpoints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and execute the category marketing calendar - including launches, key moments, and BAU campaigns.
- Own execution of pricing, pack strategy, innovation pipeline, and GTM across D2C, marketplaces, and retail trade.
- Define the category brand architecture: positioning, tone of voice, benefit ladder, and claim hierarchy in line with consumer insight.
- Deeply understand the consumer journey: triggers, barriers, and usage occasions across channels.
- Build consistent brand & category narrative across packaging, digital, listings, and campaigns.
- Drive new product launches end-to-end: packaging, listings, creatives, and performance tracking.
- Work closely with category, performance marketing, creative, community, product, and retail teams.
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE?
- Have 2-3 years in brand/category roles in FMCG or high-growth startups (E-commerce/ D2C experience preferred)
- Are deeply consumer-obsessed, with a knack for turning insight into action.
- Have experience writing/briefing pack copy, brand claims, and digital content
- Can balance brand building with business outcomes
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment
- High learning agility and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-evolving, cross-functional setup
