Whizzo is a materials science based contract manufacturing company specializing in engineered and technical textiles with applications across automobiles, agriculture, medical textiles, engineered fashion, and industrial segments. With operations across India and key Asian markets, Whizzo is known for translating customer needs into technically advanced and commercially scalable textile solutions. As part of its international expansion strategy, Whizzo is strengthening its Yarn exports business and is looking for a seasoned P&L Leader to own and scale key international markets.

Role Overview:

The P&L Head - Yarn will have end-to-end ownership of the yarn business across Bangladesh. The role requires a strong commercial leader with deep yarn market knowledge, buyer relationships, and the ability to independently drive revenue, margins, and market expansion. This is a business leadership role, responsible for strategy, sales, sourcing, pricing, risk management, and team building.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end P&L responsibility for the Yarn business across assigned international markets, with Bangladesh as the primary focus.

- Drive market entry, scale-up, topline growth, margin expansion, and working capital efficiency.

- Develop annual business plans, budgets, and growth roadmaps by geography.

- Build and manage strong relationships with spinners, traders, mills, and key buyers across regions.

- Identify new customers, high-volume accounts, and growth opportunities; lead pricing, contract, and payment negotiations.

- Monitor global yarn pricing, demandsupply trends, and competitive dynamics.

- Establish a reliable supplier ecosystem ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery.

- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance on exports, compliance, forex, and risk management.

- Build and lead high-performing international teams with clear targets, KPIs, and accountability.

- Represent Whizzo with customers, partners, and industry forums while ensuring adherence to trade regulations and compliance norms.

Product Exposure:

- Cotton Yarn (Carded / Combed)

- Polyester & Blended Yarns

- Specialty & Value-Added Yarns (preferred)

Experience:

- 10-20+ years of experience in Yarn sales, exports, or international trading.

- Proven experience handling Bangladesh yarn market (mandatory).

- Prior role as Business Head / P&L Head / Export Head preferred.

- Experience across multiple international geographies (Latin America, Europe, South-East Asia, Middle East) will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership.

- Deep understanding of yarn pricing, cost structures, and global trade dynamics.

- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder handling skills.
