Whizzo Textiles Private Limited is a B2B startup in the technical textiles industry, building innovative, scalable solutions for sectors including automotive, medical, agro, protective clothing, and performance wear. Backed by Lightspeed India, Beenext, and the co-founders of Zetwerk, Whizzo is building a high-ownership team focused on solving complex technical textile supply-chain and commercialization challenges.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact, generalist commercial role within the textiles ecosystem. You will work closely with founders and senior leadership and drive execution across sourcing, sales, partnerships, and business operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and taking end-to-end ownership in a startup environment.

What You'll Do

1. Sourcing & Supply Enablement (Textiles)

- Own supplier and manufacturing partner identification, onboarding, and relationship management across textile materials and applications

- Drive commercial negotiations, pricing alignment, and contracting

- Track supplier performance, cost structures, and fulfillment metrics

- Build scalable sourcing processes as products, customers, and volumes grow

2. Sales & Revenue Support

- Support B2B sales efforts across domestic and international customers in textile end-use industries

- Work on lead generation, customer coordination, deal structuring, and closures

- Track and improve sales funnel, conversion metrics, and revenue outcomes

- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution from order to delivery

3. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

- Identify and build strategic partnerships with customers, distributors, converters, and ecosystem partners

- Act as the single point of ownership for partner coordination and issue resolution

- Support new market, customer, and application-led launches

4. Business Operations & Execution

- Drive process improvements across sourcing, sales, and partner workflows

- Own cross-functional execution, ensuring speed, accountability, and outcomes

- Build and track MIS, dashboards, and operational metrics

- Identify opportunities for automation, tooling, and cost optimization

5. Strategy & Growth Initiatives

- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and pricing benchmarks specific to textile applications

- Support go-to-market strategies, pilot programs, and scale-up initiatives

- Take ownership of projects from idea - execution - measurable impact

What We're Looking For

- 4-5 years of experience in commercial, sourcing, sales ops, partnerships, or generalist roles

- Prior exposure to textiles, manufacturing, supply-chain-driven, or B2B businesses

- Strong ability to execute independently in ambiguous environments

- Comfort working across multiple functions without rigid boundaries

- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution skills

- High ownership mindset - you take responsibility, not just tasks
