Role:- Category Manager A. What you will do: 1. Grow & Scale: Category Manager is the owner of business within a business - own, manage & grow the category. 2. Strategy & Execution : He/ she is responsible for analysing industry trends, develop strategic plan for the allocated product category & execute the same nationally with Head of Sales to achieve sales targets & gain market share. 3. Ensure LTV/CAC for the category is Best in Class- influence retention/ profit margins. 4. Establish Category Score Card (CSC) to assess category performance objectively with data 5. Drive customer penetration of category by influencing functions outside of category management like Sales/ Finance/ Analytics/ Renewals/ Operations. B. What will you bring: Must Have attributes: a.Proven experience in leading/ handling cross functional projects b.Strong numerical & analytical aptitude c.Good organisational skills including prioritising, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines d.B2B category management experience will be preferred Core Experience: 1.At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in Category Management, preferably in B2B Software Services/ Ed-Tech/ B2B E-Commerce/ B2B Logistics. 2.Educational Background: Graduation & MBA from good college 3.Should be comfortable in travelling 25% times during a month to customer locations to assess feedback of current offerings & identifying opportunities of new spaces 4.Ability to get work done via multiple stakeholders- Sales Teams, Business Head, Finance, Analytics, Product in the company & vendors outside the company 5.The ability to understand and analyse financial data. Ability to work with the product team to solve business problems and implement product led solutions of the same Behavioural Attributes: a.Self-Starter & high on ownership b.Comfortable in high growth environment which demands performance c.Demonstrated ability to work with internal & external stakeholders d.Comfort in working as Individual contributor & team manager from time to time, depending on lifecycle of category
