About the Role : Our client is looking for a dynamic professional to join their procurement team as a Wheat Buyer. The role involves managing wheat sourcing activities, developing supplier networks, and ensuring efficient procurement to support business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage procurement of wheat from mandis, traders, and suppliers.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, millers, and market intermediaries.

- Track market trends, crop patterns, and price movements to support buying decisions.

- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.

- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure smooth supply and timely delivery.

- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company processes.

Skills and Experience :

Qualifications & Experience :

- 23 years of experience in wheat procurement/buying.

- MBA from a premier institute preferred.

- Strong understanding of agri-commodity markets and supply chains.

- Good negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
