Role Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager University Partnerships will be a key sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing and expanding strategic partnerships with universities and higher education institutions in assigned state.

This role demands aggressive sales planning, execution, and leadership to meet ambitious sales targets.

Extensive regional travel will be integral to fostering deep client relationships and closing large deals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a high-impact sales strategy to acquire and grow university partnerships across Central India.

- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with top-tier universities, colleges, and educational bodies.

- Build and maintain robust relationships with senior academic leadership and decision-makers to negotiate and close high-value contracts.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor sales pitches and presentations addressing client needs.

- Regularly conduct on-ground visits, demos, and presentations across the region to drive adoption and upsell opportunities.

- Track and report sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

- Represent WeXL AI at academic forums, industry conferences, and government liaison meetings to boost brand presence and lead generation.

Desired Profile:

- 4-8 years of proven sales experience, preferably in SAAS sales, EdTech, education services, or B2B institutional sales.

- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and handling large contract negotiations with educational institutions.

- Deep understanding of the assigned regions higher education landscape and key decision-makers is a plus.

- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and closing skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned region.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields.

- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

Remuneration: As per industry standards in SaaS, with a performance-driven structure offering a high variable pay component linked to revenue and partnership targets
