
Associate Director - Influencer Marketing

Role Summary:
We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Head of Influencer Marketing to own end-to-end influencer programs and UGC ad creation for brands. The ideal candidate will have strong agency/creative-ad experience, proven ability to scale brands via creator-led strategies, excellent client-facing skills, and a data-driven mindset. This role will work closely with the brand solutions team to decode briefs and design high-impact campaign strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Define and execute the overall influencer marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Build and implement growth plans to scale client brands using creator-led approaches.
- Monitor market and platform trends; recommend new creators, formats and trends to clients.
2. Campaign Planning & Execution:
- Decode brand briefs and translate them into campaign strategy, creative formats and KPI frameworks.
- Lead end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns and UGC ad production from ideation, creator sourcing and contracting to content approval and distribution.
- Manage creator selection, negotiation, contracts, content calendars, budgets and timelines.
- Ensure quality control and compliance across creator deliverables.
3. Client & Business Development:
- Prepare and present pitches/proposals/case studies and customised influencer strategies to win new brands.
- Own client relationships: drive performance reviews, strategic roadmaps, and upsell opportunities.
- Understand client problems and propose measurable, pragmatic solutions.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Lead and mentor the execution team and brand solution POCs; hire, set goals and manage performance.
- Identify skill or process gaps and implement training, SOPs and improvements.
- Collaborate closely with creative, performance marketing, analytics and account teams.
5. Data, Reporting & Optimisation:
- Design measurement frameworks and attribution models for influencer activity (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI).
- Deliver regular reports with actionable insights and optimisation recommendations.
- Track creator and campaign performance; run cohort analyses and apply learnings to future campaigns.
6. Industry & Creator Network:
- Maintain and grow a strong network of creators, managers/MCNs and platform contacts.
- Proactively identify new creators, micro-influencers and trending formats for client campaigns.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and compile relevant case studies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 4-5 years in an influencer marketing, creative/ad agency, or digital-first agency environment.
- 2-3+ years of hands-on team management experience (leading 3-5+ members).
- Demonstrated track record of end-to-end influencer campaign execution and scaling brands through creators and UGC.
- Strong client-facing skills experience developing pitches, proposals and stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of UGC ad formats, creator collaborations, and content-led performance frameworks.
- Data-driven approach: comfortable with KPI setting, reporting, and optimisation.
- Commercial acumen: budgeting, negotiation, contract management and vendor relationships.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social platforms, creator trends and creator monetisation models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Prior association with a well-known influencer marketing agency or creative ad agency.
- Experience working with performance marketing teams for paid amplification of UGC assets.
- Familiarity with influencer management platforms, tracking tools and analytics dashboards.

- Establish campaign playbooks for core brand categories.
- Revenue: Grow influencer vertical billings by - 50 % with gross margin - 40 %.
- Onboard 2-3 new clients through successful pitching. Achieve Net Revenue Retention - 120 %.
- Demonstrate uplift in key influencer-driven KPIs for at least two clients (engagement, conversions or awareness).
- Clear improvements in team performance via SOPs, training and process fixes.
- Expand and strengthen the creator roster and partnerships.
