Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Sales Lead to drive Honeymans revenue growth across multiple business verticals.
This role requires strong leadership, deep experience in FMCG sales, and the ability to build and scale high-performing teams.
The Sales Lead will oversee national sales operations, build key partnerships, and execute growth strategies that elevate market presence, channel performance, and customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy to drive consistent and sustainable revenue growth.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across regions and channels.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities across Modern Trade, General Trade, Horeca, Institutional, and Franchise channels.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, retail partners, and institutional buyers.
- Oversee sales planning, forecasting, target setting, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product availability and market execution.
- Conduct competitor analysis and track market trends to refine sales strategies.
- Optimize channel-wise profitability and ensure adherence to pricing and commercial guidelines.
- Represent the brand at key industry events, exhibitions, meetings, and strategic presentations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7 - 10 years of progressive FMCG sales experience; leadership experience is essential.
- Prior experience in Honey, FMCG Food, Beverages, Dairy, Ice Cream, or Health & Wellness categories preferred.
- Proven track record of driving large-scale sales growth and managing Pan India operations.
- Strong network across distributors, retail chains, institutional buyers, and industry stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and manage teams across multiple locations.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset.
