Position: Wealth Manager

Location: Gurgaon
Job Overview:
The Wealth Manager will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of High-Net-Worth (HNI), Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNI), Retail Affluent, and Corporate clients. This role combines financial expertise, relationship management, and business development to deliver personalized investment solutions and drive asset growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and manage a portfolio of HNIs/UHNIs, Retail Affluent, and Corporate clients.
- Prospect and onboard investment distributors / IFAs to expand product reach.
- Understand client needs, assess risk appetite, and recommend suitable investment opportunities (mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, alternative investments, fixed income, etc.).
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, client meetings, webinars, and investor events.
- Run end-to-end investment sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, documentation, closure, and post-investment servicing.
- Coordinate with internal teams (product, operations, compliance) for smooth execution.
- Use digital/social media and other channels to educate clients and build trust.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets (AUM growth, number of clients onboarded, distributor partnerships).
What We're Looking For:
- 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in wealth management, investment advisory, mutual fund distribution, or financial product sales.
- Strong understanding of wealth/investment products and the ability to pitch complex solutions.
- Proven track record of working with HNI / UHNI clients and exposure to distributor/IFA engagement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong phone and in-person presence; ability to manage multiple clients and leads simultaneously.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech/startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Certifications such as NISM, CFP, or CFA (preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior experience in fintech, wealth tech, or alternative investments will be an advantage.
