Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wealth Manager to join our esteemed financial advisory team. This role is pivotal in guiding and supporting High Net Worth (HNI) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNI) clients in achieving their financial objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing personalized financial plans, managing portfolios across various asset classes, and providing expert advice tailored to the unique needs of affluent clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Acquire new HNI/UHNI and corporate clients and build strong, trusting relationships based on their financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Financial Planning: Analyze client situations, develop personalized wealth management plans, and provide advisory services including investment, retirement, and tax planning.
- Portfolio Management: Manage diverse investment portfolios across equities, mutual funds, PMS, AIF, bonds, structured products, and insurance, ensuring they align with market conditions and client objectives.
- Sales: Achieve sales and revenue targets by cross-selling the firm's products and services to increase "share of wallet".
- Compliance & Market Knowledge: Stay informed on market trends, regulations (NISM, AMFI, IRDA), and best practices to provide compliant and timely advice.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams like research analysts and tax advisors for comprehensive solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in wealth management or financial services, with experience in HNI client acquisition and meeting sales targets.
- Skills: Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Certifications: CFP or CFA certifications are preferred; NISM certification may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HNI clients and their specific needs.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and financial planning strategies.
- An existing book of AUM or strong local HNI/UHNI connections is a significant advantage.
