About the Role:
We are looking for a Wealth Manager, B2B who will be responsible for onboarding, managing, and growing channel partners such as IFAs, RIAs, distributors, and other financial intermediaries. The role involves business development, relationship management, partner enablement, and ensuring revenue growth through channel-driven investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Partner Acquisition
- Identify, source, and onboard new channel partners (IFAs, RIAs, wealth distributors, brokers, etc.).
- Build a strong network of partners across assigned geographies.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product discussions to bring partners onboard.
- Partner Engagement & Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with active partners.
- Provide them with regular product updates, training, and investment insights.
- Support partners with client servicing, documentation, and transaction-related queries.
- Business Growth
- Drive investments and AUM through channel partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets through partner-led sourcing.
- Work closely with partners to generate leads and execute client investment strategies.
- Product & Market Knowledge
- Deep understanding of wealth products, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Insurance, Fixed Income, Structured Products, etc.
- Update partners on market trends and product innovations.
- Ensure all offerings are aligned with client needs and risk appetite.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure KYC, onboarding, and regulatory processes are followed for all transactions.
- Maintain accurate MIS, business tracking reports, and pipeline updates.
- Adhere to company compliance, audit, and operational guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 8+ years of experience in wealth management, mutual fund distribution, channel sales, IFA acquisition, or financial product distribution.
- Strong network of IFAs/RIAs/distributors is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Ability to work independently and drive business through partners.
