Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Acquire new customers for portfolios, insurance, mutual funds, FDs, and NCDs (upon launch).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across product categories.
- Utilize both personal client networks and company-provided curated leads to generate business.
- Conduct regular field visits to meet prospective and existing clients to deepen relationships.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and grow a personal portfolio of high-value customers.
- Provide personalized financial solutions based on customer needs and risk profiles.
- Ensure timely follow-up, query resolution, and high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
Branch Mapping & Coordination
- Map all assigned branches within the region to optimize lead utilization and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with branch teams to leverage walk-in customers and branch-level campaigns.
- Participate in local marketing activities and customer engagement events.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, sales pipelines, and closures.
- Submit periodic sales reports and performance updates to the regional manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Finance/Marketing preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in field sales within BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain preferred.
- Strong experience in selling mutual funds, insurance, FDs, wealth products, etc.
- Must have an existing client base/portfolio with proven relationship management capability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with extensive field work.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships and manage multiple product lines.
- AMFI/IRDA certifications (if applicable) will be an added advantage.
