Position Name : Senior Vice President - Wealth Manager

Location : Gift City ( Gujarat)

Experience Range : 15+ years in Asset management,Private Equity or Financial Services

About the Client : Fund Management Entity under IFSCA Regulatory framework

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the firms strategic vision in line with regulatory, market, and stakeholder expectations.


- Identify and drive business development opportunities, including domestic and international fund launches, third-party asset management, and platform partnerships.


- Lead fundraising activities across various fund strategies and vehicle

Fund & Investment Oversight

- Oversee fund structuring, registration (including AIFs, ETFs, REITs/InvITs if applicable), and operational setup within IFSCA regulations.


- Supervise investment strategies, risk management frameworks, and performance monitoring in coordination with CIO/Investment Teams.


- Lead product development aligned with investor appetite and regulatory frameworks.

Governance & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure full compliance with IFSCA guidelines, including periodic filings, disclosures, and inspections.


- Liaise with IFSCA, custodians, fund administrators, and auditors for seamless regulatory functioning.


- Lead internal governance frameworks including AML/KYC, investor protection, and risk policies.

Operations & Infrastructure

- Build and manage core operational infrastructure: fund administration, technology,accounting, and investor servicing.


- Optimize operational efficiency while ensuring transparency and scalability of the platform.

Team Management

- Recruit, develop, and manage high-performing leadership and functional teams.


- Foster a culture of integrity, innovation, performance, and compliance.

Stakeholder & Investor Relations

- Maintain and enhance relationships with investors, fund distributors, regulators, service providers, and the Board.


- Ensure timely communication, investor reporting, and issue resolution.

Risk and Performance Monitoring

- Implement a robust risk management framework.


- Monitor fund performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

- Strong understanding of fund structures (AIF, VCC-equivalent, etc. ), regulations (IFSCA, SEBI), and GIFT City ecosystem.


- Visionary leadership with a growth mindset and execution capability.


- High integrity, professionalism, and regulatory prudence.


- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Qualification and Experience:

- Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).


- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management, private equity, or investment banking.


- Prior leadership role in an AIF, fund management company, or regulated entity.


- Strong understanding of GIFT City and IFSCA regulatory ecosystem.


- Proven track record of launching/managing funds or platforms across multiple asset classes
