Aviral - Reducing Plastic Waste in the Ganga - This project will initiate a large awareness &amp; behavioral change campaign, focusing on solid waste generated in two of the holiest Ganga cities in Uttarakhand, Haridwar, and Rishikesh. - We will positively change how local residents &amp; businesses, tourists &amp; vendors, ashrams &amp; schools, &amp; government authorities deal with waste in and around the Ganga. What You Will Do: - Managing the project on-ground activities in both the cities, Rishikesh &amp; Haridwar. - Coordinating activity implementation at the local level with project and city stakeholders and reporting to Team Lead and GIZ project manager. - Ensuring all deliverables and targets of the project are met within the stipulated timeline. - Provide timely feedback on the project implementation status. What should you have: - Demonstrated passion for solving socio-environmental issues. - A degree in a relevant field is a plus, not mandatory. We care about your proven abilities &amp; skills. - 5 years experience in on ground project implementation - Experience of working in the waste management sector will be given preference. - Regional knowledge &amp; work experience in Uttarakhand preferred.
