We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and scale our fulfillment operations across dark stores and central warehouses. The role will be critical in ensuring fast, accurate, and cost-efficient order fulfillment for our D2C and quick-commerce channels.
You will work closely with q-com partners, logistics providers, planning teams, and tech platforms to deliver a seamless customer experience while building robust warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Dark Store Operations:
- Ensure SLA adherence for quick commerce and D2C orders (speed, accuracy, OTIF)
- Drive layout optimization and process improvements for faster fulfillment
Quick Commerce & Partner Management:
- Coordinate with q-com platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, etc.)
- Ensure smooth inventory sync, replenishment cycles, and dispatch readiness
- Manage partner escalations, performance metrics, and compliance
Inventory & Logistics Management:
- Own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, shrinkage control, and stock reconciliation
- Plan replenishments in line with demand forecasts and sales velocity
- Work closely with last-mile and line-haul logistics partners
Process & Cost Optimization:
- Implement SOPs, quality checks, and productivity benchmarks
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across warehousing, manpower, and logistics
- Track KPIs like fill rate, pick accuracy, TAT, cost per order, and inventory turns
People & Vendor Management:
- Manage warehouse teams, supervisors, and third-party manpower
- Train teams on SOPs, safety, and productivity standards
- Oversee vendor performance and contract adherence
Systems & Tech:
- Work with WMS, OMS, and ERP systems for seamless order processing
- Drive process automation and tech adoption where possible
- Ensure data accuracy and real-time reporting
What Were Looking For:
- 510 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong exposure to D2C, FMCG, consumer brands, or quick commerce
- Hands-on experience with dark stores and high-velocity fulfillment
- Strong understanding of last-mile logistics and q-com SLAs
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong problem-solving, execution, and people-management skills
