Role Overview:

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee all aspects of our Bangalore warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves collaborating closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demands. The successful candidate will directly impact our ability to deliver products on time and within budget, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and overall business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

- Develop and implement warehouse layout and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and improve operational efficiency.

- Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation, to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies.

- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with transportation providers to secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse and logistics operations, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover, to identify areas for improvement.

- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance their skills and productivity.

- Streamline logistics processes and implement best practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency across the supply chain.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics.

- Proven expertise in optimizing warehouse layout and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and improve efficiency.

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, particularly in securing competitive rates with transportation providers.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
