In This Role, You Will: - Play a vital part in revolutionizing our audit function by identifying and implementing process improvements. - Develop and execute audit plans, respond to tax authority information document requests, and negotiate audit strategies and results. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify refund opportunities within the audit process. - Build strong relationships with taxing authorities to resolve outstanding audit issues. What We're Looking For: - Relevant tax audit and controversy experience - Experience managing complex tax audits and audit plans - A track record of working with tax jurisdictions to resolve audit issues. - Juris Doctor (J.D.) qualification (preferred) or Advanced Tax or Accounting Degree (preferred) - Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners - Proficiency in working with big data, complex reconciliations, and new technology - Proficiency in identifying process improvements - In-depth knowledge of various states tax laws and regulations and the ability to apply such laws to business operations - Exceptional Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - A talent for simplifying complex tax topics and issues for internal and external stakeholders. - Strong tax research and writing skills - A passion for tackling challenges and engaging Fortune 1 scale Minimum Qualifications" - Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area OR 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area.
