Walmart Workforce Strategy and Organizational: - The Workforce Strategy and Organizational Design team helps to ensure that Walmart has the right people at the right time, in the right role at the right cost and location to deliver our business strategy. - We foster strategic partnerships and provide proactive insights and plans to elevate decision making that helps better manage our workforce and workplace. - We develop agile, fair, and consistent practices and platforms that improves our workforce ecosystem in order to meet business demand, respond to talent market shortages with agility, close critical skill gaps, and maintain robust short- and long-term diverse talent pipelines. - The Director of Organizational Design will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, delivering leading-edge consulting services and maturing the company's organization design and effectiveness methods and tools. The Director, Organization Design will: - Design strategy and build OD capabilities (tools, playbooks, training) in alignment with business needs and in collaboration with other COE and People functions. - Promote and facilitate the use of proven organization design methods, processes and tools across the enterprise - Design and maintain the rules for the organizational structure creation - Design, execute and maintain an organizational health dashboard for different business units/segments - Conducts regular assessments of the organizational structure and recommends changes to make the organization more efficient & effective - Participates in HR Projects and organization wide projects Youll Sweep Us Off our Feet if: - If you have experience developing a global methodology and advanced analytical tools to design and deliver organization strategy solutions to key business partners and stakeholders. - Built organizational development capability in a large scale, global organization. - Lead a team of experienced OD/E consultants. Youll Make an Impact By: - Leading the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet OD needs and program goals. - Managing cross-enterprise organizational development (OD) strategies and processes. - Developing and implementing organization strategies that support improved client future-state organizational design and service delivery. - Managing the process for preparing organization design alternatives, testing them against design criteria, and aligning leadership groups around design selection and implementation - Managing the process of identifying, assigning, and implementing decision making authority and responsibility to both individuals (decision rights) and groups (governance) - Serving as a trusted advisor to clients through the organization design process - Assessing OD needs of operating, business, and functional units. - Evaluating strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals. - Assisting with the provision of expert facilitation and coaching to people partner regarding OD methods and tools.
