Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Director with extensive experience in IT solution sales within the Microsoft ecosystem.
This role will be responsible for driving large-scale revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, and leading strategic engagements with enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong consultative selling approach, deep domain expertise in Microsoft technologies, and a proven ability to close complex, high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Define and drive the overall sales strategy for Microsoft-based solutions across regions or verticals
- Own and deliver on revenue targets, profitability, and business growth objectives
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team with clear KPIs and performance metrics
- Develop go-to-market strategies aligned with organizational goals and Microsoft priorities
Enterprise Sales & Solution Selling
- Lead large, complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders and high-value contracts
- Engage with CXOs and senior decision-makers to understand business priorities and position tailored solutions
- Drive consultative selling of Microsoft solutions including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform
- Oversee proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract closures
Client & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with enterprise clients and key accounts
- Strengthen partnerships within the Microsoft ecosystem to drive joint sales initiatives
- Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring customer success and long-term engagement
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new market opportunities, industry verticals, and strategic accounts
- Drive expansion through new logo acquisition and existing account growth
- Collaborate with marketing for demand generation, campaigns, and brand positioning
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, alliances, and product teams to ensure seamless execution
- Align internal teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions to clients
- Provide market feedback to influence product and service offerings
Operational Excellence & Forecasting
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvements
- Drive process optimization and adoption of best practices in sales operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in IT sales with a strong focus on enterprise solution selling
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Deep expertise in Microsoft ecosystem offerings such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform
- Strong leadership experience managing and scaling sales teams
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Microsoft or Microsoft Gold/ Solutions Partner organizations
- Strong understanding of cloud transformation, digital innovation, and enterprise architecture
- MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management
