Description:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a solid grasp of P&L understanding, excellent Excel skills, and a flexible, problem-solving mindset. Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a significant plus.
This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions, tax and statutory compliance (including GST, TDS, and Transfer Pricing), financial reporting, and supporting internal/external audits. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage ad-hoc reporting requests are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations,
and general ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure proper ledger scrutiny and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support in preparing and analyzing Profit & Loss statements and other financial reports.
Compliance & Taxation:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Assist in Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance as required.
- Liaise with tax consultants for assessments, notices, and audits.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
Financial Reporting & Audit Support:
- Prepare schedules, documentation, and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested by management or investors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CA (Qualified) with relevant hands-on experience.
- Post qualification experience of upto 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
- Prior experience or exposure to Transfer Pricing (TP) is a plus.
- Proficient in Tally and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel skills are a must).
- Exposure to tools like Zoho, QuickBooks, or SAP is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Startup experience is highly desirable.
Candidates who can join immediately or within 1520 days will be preferred.
