Manager - Finance


Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.

- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insights to management.

- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.

- Partner with business teams to evaluate financial performance and support decision-making.

2. Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Indian GAAP / IFRS.

- Finalize accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

- Manage reconciliations, general ledger scrutiny, and variance investigation.

3. Taxation & Compliance

- Handle direct and indirect tax compliance including Income Tax, GST, and TDS.

- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and accurate documentation.

- Coordinate with consultants/authorities for assessments and regulatory queries.

4. Auditing & Internal Controls

- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits with schedules and documentation.

- Strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.

- Assist in regulatory reporting requirements as applicable.

5. Business Partnering, SOPs & Process Improvements

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive finance-related initiatives.

- Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance functions.

- Design and manage automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely delivery of finance activities.

- Support automation and process enhancement in financial operations.

Key Requirements

- Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA Finance

- Experience: 2-3 years post-qualification, preferably in FP&A, accounting, and taxation roles.

- Preferred Background: Service industry, consulting firms, or CA firm exposure.

- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of FP&A, Indian accounting standards, taxation, and auditing.

- Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to Tally, SAP, or other ERPs.

- Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work in dynamic environments.
