Job Title: Regional Head - Dealer Network (North & West)
Location: Delhi or Bangalore
Reporting to: Director - Dealer Network
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the dealer/channel network expansion strategy for North & West India, driving growth in market share and revenue.
- Build strong relationships with dealers and distributors; oversee dealer onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management.-
- Achieve regional sales targets through effective planning, field visits, and close monitoring of dealer activities.
- Design and roll out channel incentive programs as per the business strategy.
- Analyze dealer performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive best practices across the territory.
- Coordinate with central functions (logistics, marketing, product, customer support) to ensure seamless execution and support for the dealer network.
- Track competition activities and proactively address pricing, scheme, or distribution challenges in assigned regions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of area managers and regional team members; drive their productivity and professional growth.
- Participate actively in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the region.-
- Handle dealer conflict resolution and ensure adherence to company compliance, commercial policies, and credit guidelines.
- Represent Wakefit at regional trade meets, exhibitions, and key dealer events.-
Requirements:
- Experience in channel sales, dealer network management, or regional business development, preferably in consumer durables, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling dealer/distributor networks in multiple states.-
- Proven people management and leadership skills; handled teams of area/territory managers and below.
-Analytical, strategic, and highly execution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship management abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across North and West India.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in new market entries and dealer network activation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-stage company environment.
- Strong understanding of channel sales KPIs, market trends, and local business culture in the North and West.
