Role Overview:

The Process Excellence role at our Hosur manufacturing facility is a strategic position focused on driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the plant floor. You will work closely with production managers, supply chain teams, and shop-floor staff to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement robust process frameworks. By championing a culture of data-driven decision-making, you will directly influence manufacturing throughput, cost optimization, and overall product quality, ensuring our production capabilities keep pace with our growing market demand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity and reduce operational waste.

- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to standardize manufacturing processes and minimize variability in production output.

- Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to improve equipment reliability and maximize machine uptime.

- Conduct Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) to redesign inefficient workflows and improve the speed of delivery from raw material to finished goods.

- Analyze production data to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions that prevent downtime and quality defects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the shop floor.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in applying Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM frameworks within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

- Proven ability to lead complex process design and BPR projects that result in measurable improvements in plant operations.

- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret production metrics and translate them into actionable operational strategies.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence shop-floor teams and leadership alike.

- A minimum of 4 to 9 years of professional experience in manufacturing process improvement or plant operations.

- A degree in Engineering or Operations Management, with a strong preference for candidates from premier institutes.

- High adaptability to an on-site work environment, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced factory setting.
