Wakefit - Process Excellence Role

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Loss Reduction:

- Identify, track, and reduce material losses across production processes through root cause analysis and process improvements.

- Streamline labor losses by improving productivity, line balancing, and manpower utilization.

- Establish standard loss benchmarks and ensure adherence through regular audits and reviews.

Quality Improvement:

- Reduce quality-related losses by driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Improve first-pass yield and reduce rework, rejection, and refurbishment.

- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to strengthen process controls and quality standards.

Inventory & Warehouse Excellence:

- Define and implement FG (Finished Goods) and SFG (Semi-Finished Goods) stock guard rails aligned with demand, lead times, and production capacity.

- Maintain healthy inventory levels at warehouses by controlling aging, slow-moving, and non-moving stock.

- Drive inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and adherence to FIFO practices.

Logistics Cost Optimization:

- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs across inbound, inter-warehouse, and outbound movements.

- Optimize vehicle utilization, route planning, and dispatch models without impacting service levels.

New Product Launch Readiness:

- Act as the operations gatekeeper for new product launches.

- Ensure process readiness across sourcing, production, quality, inventory, and logistics before giving operational go-ahead.

- Validate scalability, cost impact, and risk mitigation plans for new product introductions.
