Job Description/ Responsibilities:


- Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, the Senior Manager CSR Fundraising (SMCSRF) will play a key role in expanding WAIs Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships and driving long-term, sustainable fundraising growth.

- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of securing significant funding from corporate sources and a strong understanding of CSR regulations and practices in India, including Section 135 of the Companies Act.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing a comprehensive CSR fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives

- Identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with potential and existing corporate partners in India

- Creating compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to secure funding through CSR initiatives

- Leading negotiations and finalizing agreements with corporate partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes

- Staying abreast of CSR trends, regulations, and best practices in India, and leveraging this knowledge to enhance fundraising efforts

- Collaborating with internal teams (programs, finance, and communications) to design and implement impactful CSR projects and initiatives

- Overseeing the management of CSR partnerships, ensuring timely reporting, compliance, and effective communication

- Monitoring and analyzing fundraising performance, tracking key metrics, and providing regular updates to senior management

- Representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand CSR outreach

- Mentoring and guiding junior fundraising team members, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment.

Qualifications, Experience And Competencies:


Qualification and Experience:

- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, non-profit management, or a related field.

- A master's degree is preferred

- Minimum of eight to 10 years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development in the non-profit sector in India

- Proven track record of successfully securing significant funding from corporate sources.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong understanding of CSR regulations and practices in India, including Section 135 of the Companies Act

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners

- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets, tracking metrics, and reporting on fundraising performance

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Proficiency in CRM software and other fundraising tools

- Fluency in English and Hindi is required; knowledge of other regional languages is an asset.

Compensation Offered:


- Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive and in alignment with salaries paid by leading I/NGOs for similar roles.

- This is a full-time role.

- Offers shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
