Position/Role : The VP (Vice President) of Channel Distribution is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company's partner distribution growth channel. This position will require a strategic thinker with a self-driven attitude along with extensive experience in partner management, business development, and driving revenue growth. The person will be the P&L owner of Vyapar Software Distribution through the partner channel while building and managing the team, optimizing their performance, and measuring all aspects, aligning with the broader goals of the organization. Key Responsibilities : - Channel Strategy Development: Identify, experiment and implement a comprehensive channel distribution strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives. - Partner Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic channel partners who would become the partner in growth of the company. Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and build processes for scaling the partner channels. - Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth and P&L of the Partner channel aligning with the targets and overall company objectives. Collaborate with marketing, tech, product and other teams to develop joint business plans, sales forecasts, incentive programs for partners and internal teams etc., and collaborate with all the teams to execute the plans. - Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze channel partner performance, including sales performance, market share, and profitability. Build monitoring, targeting and incentive structure for all the internal teams. Provide regular reports and insights to other leaders of the company along with the senior leadership and board of the company. - Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing channel distribution team strictly adhering to the company values. Set performance goals, build measurement mechanisms, provide coaching and mentorship, and foster a collaborative and results driven team culture. Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments to align channel distribution efforts with overall business objectives. Desired Skills And Requirements : - Demonstrated success in developing and executing channel distribution plans that resulted in revenue growth and market expansion. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills - Strong motivation driven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and build a cohesive team. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives. - Great analytical skills and data driven approach in solving and analyzing problems. - Strong strategic thinking and innovative thought process to build solutions. Experience : - Experience from Fintech much preferred - 12+ years of experience in channel management, business development, or sales leadership. - Minimum 5 years of experience in channel distribution or selling through partner channels. Education : Graduation from any stream but engineering degree is preferred.
