About the Role:

We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to take ownership of recruitment, people management, and HR operations while building the HR function from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team to hire strong talent, build scalable HR processes, support employees, and strengthen the company's people and performance culture.

What You'll Do:

Recruitment:

- Own end-to-end recruitment across functions.

- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and close positions.

- Build talent pipelines through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, agencies, and other channels.

- Manage candidate communication, interviews, offers, negotiations, and closures.

- Track hiring metrics and continuously improve time-to-hire and quality of hire.

People Management:

- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

- Own onboarding, induction, and probation processes.

- Support performance management, appraisals, feedback, and employee development.

- Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives.

- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including promotions, transfers, and exits.

Building the HR Function:

- Build HR policies and processes from scratch.

- Set up scalable systems for attendance, leave, HR documentation, payroll inputs, and employee records.

- Establish performance management and employee lifecycle processes.

- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, compensation, organizational structure, and people-related decisions.

- Ensure HR processes are aligned with applicable employment laws and compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For:

- 2-5 years of experience in HR, with strong exposure to recruitment and generalist HR.

- Strong experience in end-to-end hiring and stakeholder management.

- Experience building or improving HR processes and systems.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of Indian HR practices and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.

- Startup, media, marketing, creator economy, or high-growth company experience is a plus.
