What You'll Do:

- Plan, lead, and execute risk-based internal audits across all departments to ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory compliance.

- Thoroughly assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.

- Identify control deficiencies, potential risks, and areas of non-compliance.

- Prepare clear, concise, and impactful audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses.

- Present reports and key insights to senior management and the Audit Committee, fostering constructive dialogue.

- Monitor the timely and effective implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions by management, ensuring that identified deficiencies are adequately addressed.

- Stay continuously updated with the latest regulatory changes, pronouncements, and best practices relevant to the housing finance industry, specifically those issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other relevant housing finance company (HFC) regulations.

What You'll Bring:

- A strong, in-depth understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and proven audit methodologies.

- Familiarity with RBI and HFC regulations, compliance requirements, and the broader regulatory landscape impacting the housing finance sector.

- Excellent analytical capabilities to interpret complex data, identify root causes of issues, and develop practical, effective solutions.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex audit findings clearly and concisely in reports and presentations.

- Unquestionable integrity, strong ethical standards, and the ability to work independently with a high degree of objectivity and professionalism.

- Professional certification like CA, CPA, CIA) is a plus
