VP - Market Risk - Leading Global Reinsurer, Bangalore  This position is part of the Market Risk Reporting function, within Group Risk Management. The candidate should be a self-starter and a quick learner with a keen interest in financial markets, quantitative tasks, models and report design, with proven ability to work independently, find solutions to challenges while paying attention to detail.  Principal Responsibilities:  - The VP works together with other Risk professionals based in Europe and Bangalore. The team is in charge of collecting and aggregating firm-wide financial market risks and communicate by means of risk reports on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders. Main responsibility includes ensuring quality, timeliness and consistency of reported risk information, perform trend analysis and phrase change commentaries. He/She will also identify and lead initiatives to improve risk reporting landscape and strengthen Bangalore as a reporting hub.  Required Skills  - 7+ years of experience in capital markets, preferably in financial risk management or asset management  - Solid understanding of Fixed Income and Equity markets, Hedging strategies using Derivatives, VaR and Stress testing  - Strong Excel, SQL skills and ability to design high quality risk reports  - Strong analytical skills  - Good communication, presentation and leadership skills  - Educational Background  - Solid academic track record (Masters or higher) in Finance, Economics or Mathematics  Please send profiles to: pallavi@peepalconsulting.com
