Role Title: VP/ AVP / GM - Learning & Development
Delhi Corporate Office, India
Role Context :
The Employee will be responsible for managing the entire L&D vertical and end to end activities, which include new joiner induction, skill training, product training and LMS initiatives.
Skill and Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Vast knowledge of Sale and online training
- Well versed with PowerPoint, MS Excel & LMS
- Should have experience of team handling
- Well-versed in working under tight deadlines
- Experience working in sales driven industry
- 15-25 years of experience
Qualification:
- Must be a Graduate/PG
- Should have basic computer application skills
Job Responsibilities:
L&D Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and drive the organization's Learning & Development strategy aligned with business goals
- Build a strong learning culture focused on continuous improvement and capability building
- Lead and mentor the L&D team and the upskill as per the current business scenario
Training Needs Analysis:
- Identify current and future skill gaps through performance data, business plans, and stakeholder inputs
- Partner with business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational priorities
Learning Program Design & Delivery:
- Design and implement leadership, technical, functional, and behavioral training programs
- Oversee onboarding, induction, and career development frameworks
- Ensure blended learning approaches (classroom, digital, on-the-job, coaching, mentoring)
Leadership & Talent Development:
- Develop learning plan for leadership pipelines and succession planning programs in association of HR team
- Design high-potential (HiPo) and managerial capability development initiatives
Learning Technology & Innovation:
- Manage LMS/LXP platforms and digital learning tools
- Introduce innovative learning methodologies (microlearning, gamification, AI-based learning where applicable)
Measurement & Impact:
- Establish KPIs to measure learning effectiveness (ROI, ROE, behavioral change, performance impact)
- Track training budgets, utilization, and effectiveness metrics
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and business heads
- Manage relationships with external trainers, consultants, and institutions
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure mandatory and compliance training requirements are met
- Maintain training records and audits as required by law or internal policy
Budget & Resource Management:
- Plan and manage the L&D budget effectively
- Optimize cost through internal capability building and vendor management
Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Support engagement, performance management, and change initiatives through learning interventions
- Promote knowledge-sharing and learning communities
- MIS / Reports management details
- Preparing and evaluating different training reports
