About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the companys accounting operations and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and team leadership, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
As the Accounting Manager, you will lead a team of accountants, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, coordinate audits, and support strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and resolving any issues.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate accounting team members to foster professional growth and high performance.
- Collaborate with finance, tax, and other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial processes.
- Assist in tax planning and ensure timely submission of tax filings.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors /master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing a team and leading financial closing and reporting processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
