Vodafone Idea - General Manager - Practice Consultant - Cyber Security

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Practice Consultant to lead cybersecurity consulting engagements, develop security strategies, drive solution adoption, and support enterprise customers in strengthening their security posture.

The role requires expertise across cybersecurity domains, stakeholder management, solution architecture, and business consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead cybersecurity consulting engagements for enterprise clients.

- Assess customer security maturity, risks, and compliance requirements.

- Design cybersecurity transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

- Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs, and technology leadership teams.

- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and support pre-sales activities.

- Develop cybersecurity solution proposals, business cases, and strategic recommendations.

- Conduct security gap assessments, risk evaluations, and governance reviews.

- Provide expertise across cloud security, network security, endpoint security, IAM, SOC, SIEM, and Zero Trust frameworks.

- Drive practice growth through thought leadership and market engagement.

- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

- Experience with Security Operations, SIEM, SOC, IAM, PAM, DLP, and Cloud Security.

- Knowledge of Risk Management, Compliance, and Governance frameworks.

- Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- MBA preferred.

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor preferred
