Vodafone Idea - Assistant General Manager - Operations Lead - Market Place

About the Role:

- We are looking for an experienced AGM Operations Lead Marketplace to drive operational strategy, solution enablement, partner ecosystem management, and deployment governance across IoT-based Smart Mobility and Smart Infrastructure (Industry 4.0) solutions.

- The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in IoT solution operations, marketplace enablement, connected mobility ecosystems, industrial IoT applications, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. This role requires a blend of operations leadership, solution consulting, technical governance, ecosystem partnerships, and deployment management capabilities.

- The candidate will work closely with Product, Presales, Engineering, Application, Business Development, and Partner teams to operationalize scalable IoT solutions and marketplace offerings aligned with customer and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketplace Operations & Solution Enablement

- Drive operational management and enablement of IoT marketplace solutions across Smart Mobility and Smart Infrastructure domains.

Support end-to-end operationalization of connected ecosystem solutions including:

- Connected Vehicles

- Electric Vehicles (2W/3W/4W)

- Logistics & Fleet Solutions

- Industrial Automation

- Condition-Based Monitoring

- Energy Monitoring Solutions

- Ensure seamless coordination between product, engineering, application, and business teams for solution delivery and execution.

Solution Operations & Deployment Governance:

- Evaluate customer requirements and define operational feasibility, deployment workflows, and implementation readiness.

- Drive operational governance for pilots, proof-of-concepts (POCs), deployments, and solution rollouts.

- Monitor deployment performance, operational KPIs, SLA adherence, and customer success metrics.

- Support techno-commercial solutioning and operational readiness for RFP/RFI engagements.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and post-deployment support.

Partner & Ecosystem Management:

- Collaborate with Product and Application teams to evaluate and operationalize partnerships and engagement models. Work closely with upstream Sales and Business Development teams to enable scalable marketplace and IoT solution adoption.

- Support onboarding and management of ecosystem partners, OEMs, platform vendors, and technology providers. Drive collaboration with standard bodies and industry forums to ensure compliance and ecosystem alignment.

Technical & Operational Leadership:

Ensure operational alignment across IoT solution architecture, middleware, connectivity, analytics, and application ecosystems.

Oversee workflow planning including:

- Scope Management

- Budget Tracking

- Documentation

- Quality Governance

- Deployment Planning

- Drive process optimization and operational efficiency initiatives for marketplace operations.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory, industrial, and IoT communication standards.

Engineering Graduate/Postgraduate in:

- Prior experience working in Product, Presales, Solutioning, or Operations leadership roles preferred.

- Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms and analytics frameworks.

- Understanding of digital marketplace operations and ecosystem scaling.
