Job Summary:
- We are looking for a highly driven Strategy & Business Development Manager to join our CEO's office/Corporate Strategy team in Mumbai.
- The ideal candidate will leverage their strong analytical and business acumen, gained from a top-tier MBA and 4-6 years of professional experience, to drive new strategic initiatives, evaluate market expansion opportunities, and manage key cross-functional projects critical for the company's growth.
- This is a high-impact, visible role that requires exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Market Entry: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential threats.
- Develop comprehensive business plans for new product launches, geographical expansion, or strategic partnerships, including financial modeling and forecasting.
- Collaborate with business unit heads to define and articulate the long-term corporate strategy.
- Project & Initiative Management: Own and drive critical strategic projects end-to-end, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and alignment with business goals.
- Design and implement process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives across various functions.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives and present performance insights to executive leadership.
- Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Perform complex financial modeling for new ventures, M&A due diligence, and capital expenditure proposals to support executive decision-making.
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling presentations and reports for the Board and Senior Management on strategy and performance.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Support the Business Development team in identifying, evaluating, and structuring strategic alliances, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Prepare high-quality pitch decks, proposals, and collateral for external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Required: Full-time MBA/PGDM from a premier institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, etc.)
- 4-6 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Analysis, Consulting, or a similar high-impact role.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage C-level stakeholders.
- Preferred: Prior experience in a top-tier Management Consulting firm or a Corporate Strategy/Chief of Staff role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
