Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a consumer-centric and data-driven Product Manager - IoT (TWS) to lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for true wireless audio products. This role requires deep understanding of consumer behavior, strong market intelligence, and the ability to work cross-functionally to define, launch, and scale differentiated TWS products in a highly competitive IoT and wearables market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Consumer & Market Understanding
- Lead in-depth understanding of consumer behavior, preferences, and unmet needs through qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal research, sales, and marketing teams to translate consumer insights into actionable product requirements.
- Maintain strong consumer obsession to ensure product decisions are grounded in real-world usage and expectations.
2. Industry & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct data-driven analysis of the IoT, audio, and wearables landscape, with specific focus on the TWS category.
- Perform primary and secondary research to track competitor offerings, pricing strategies, feature differentiation, and emerging trends.
- Develop clear competitive positioning and identify opportunities for product superiority.
3. Product Definition & Roadmap Ownership
- Define product vision, value proposition, and detailed product requirements based on consumer insights and business goals.
- Own the product roadmap for the TWS category, including future feature planning, innovation pipeline, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality products.
- Support sales forecasting and demand planning aligned with product launches and roadmap milestones.
4. Product Launch & Go-to-Market Execution
- Define launch milestones, success metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product readiness and market performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
- Ensure timely delivery of product launches across channels including online, retail, and partner ecosystems.
5. Marketing & Communication Enablement
- Work closely with Digital, Retail, PR, and Training teams to review and validate all product-related marketing assets.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity of product messaging across websites, packaging, campaigns, sales tools, and training materials.
- Enable sales and customer-facing teams with strong product narratives, feature explanations, and competitive differentiation.
6. External Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and ecosystem players to drive seamless collaboration.
- Conduct regular market visits and partner interactions to stay updated on industry movements and execution challenges.
7. Market Benchmarking & Insights
- Lead market benchmarking initiatives including market segmentation, development, refinement, and competitive intelligence analysis.
- Apply structured learning strategies to continuously improve product positioning and market fit.
8. Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
- Steer and align cross-functional teams including sales, service, product, software development, content, marketing, legal, operations, and finance.
- Evaluate new ideas, drive prioritization, motivate teams to meet deadlines, and ensure alignment throughout the go-to-market process.
- Act as the single point of accountability for product outcomes across the organization.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Product Management within IoT, Audio, Wearables, or TWS products.
- Strong understanding of consumer electronics product lifecycles and go-to-market execution.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
