Apply today. Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Associate to join our team. As a Product Development Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of new products and improving existing products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough market research in collaboration with stakeholders to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and use this information to develop supplements that are appealing and relevant to the target audience. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, Amazon, finance, and operations, to ensure that the product development process is aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals. - Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and regulations in the supplement industry, and use this knowledge to develop innovative and differentiated products that stand out from the competition. - Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and partners, to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, manufacturing, and packaging. - Continuously monitor and improve product quality and compliance by working closely with quality assurance, Amazon, and customer experience teams. - Identify and mitigate risks and challenges that may arise during the product development process by proactively seeking solutions, anticipating potential issues, and communicating effectively with managers and relevant departments. - Provide timely and accurate information and updates to stakeholders, such as the Commercialization Manager and Amazon Project Coordinator, on the status and progress of product development projects. - Provide timely reviews of all new product artwork in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Marketing teams. - Provide timely reviews of select Marketing, Amazon, and Retail copy and images to help ensure compliance. - Assist with the development of new product concepts, formulations, and packaging design. - Coordinate the pilot testing and scale-up of new products, working closely with manufacturing and operations teams. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of products. - Analyze product performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and inform future product development efforts. - Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Biology or Biochemistry. - 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably within the supplement industry. - Knowledge of FDA regulations including Structure Function Claims, Health Canada NHP regulations, GMP guidelines, and other regulatory requirements related to supplement manufacturing and labeling. - Familiarity with supplement ingredients and their potential benefits. - Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
