Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Goa.
This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for driving sales performance in the assigned region.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven experience in sales management, business development, and client relationship management, particularly within the building materials industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and fabricators.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market reach.
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and increase brand visibility.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM tools.
- Provide timely reports and forecasts to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in building materials (Plywood, Laminates, Glass, HPL, ACP, Architectural Hardware, etc.).
- Strong network and connections with architects, builders, and fabricators in the region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
