This position will be responsible for driving end-to-end e-commerce growth for the assigned category across D2C channels, quick commerce platforms, and marketplaces. This role involves category strategy, assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and listing management, ensuring strong online visibility, profitability, and seamless operations.
Category Management & Business Growth:
- Drive the e-commerce business for the category, including assortment planning, pricing, discounting, promotions, and inventory optimization.
- Develop and execute comprehensive category growth strategies across D2C channels, quick commerce platforms, and marketplaces.
- Ensure profitability, availability, and growth across all platforms.
Marketplace & Partner Management:
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with platform leaders, suppliers, and retailers.
- Collaborate on visibility plans, platform activations, and joint marketing initiatives.
Product Listing & Catalog Operations:
- Hands-on product listing experience across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, and other platforms.
- Create, upload, and manage product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, keywords, and attributes.
- Ensure listing quality as per platform guidelines including image requirements, categorization, and SEO.
- Manage regular price updates, stock updates, and listing optimization.
- Maintain accurate product data and ensure high-quality content.
Inventory & Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with the supply chain team for stock and replenishment updates.
- Ensure listings reflect real-time inventory and availability.
- Support integration of order processing and tracking systems.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Analyze product performance metrics such as impressions, views, conversions, and sales.
- Monitor competitor listings, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Generate reports and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Recommend interventions to improve visibility, conversion, and platform ranking.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in e-commerce category management, marketplace management, or catalog operations.
- Strong knowledge of marketplace dashboards, policies, and operational workflows.
- Understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content optimization for product visibility.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (bulk uploads, data analysis, templates).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- Prior experience in D2C industry is highly desirable
