About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of products, processes, and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining quality standards, executing testing and validation activities, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Testing:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT support.

- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools and ensure timely resolution.

- Validate fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure quality standards are met.

Process & Quality Control:

- Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure clarity and testability.

- Ensure adherence to defined quality standards, processes, and best practices.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Work closely with development, product, and business teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.

- Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

- Support UAT activities and coordinate with business users when required.

Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare and maintain test reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards.

- Document QA processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience: 34 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Analyst / QA Engineer in software testing.

Technical Skills:

- Strong experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).

- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.

- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation (good to have).

Testing Knowledge:

- Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.

- Understanding of test design techniques and defect life cycle.

Soft Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.

- Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.

- Knowledge of performance or security testing basics.

Educational Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
