Role Summary

As a Senior Data Consultant, you will serve as the strategic bridge between complex technical ecosystems and executive business objectives.

This is not a back-office role; you will be the face of data transformation, leading high-stakes engagements that turn raw data into competitive advantages.

Leveraging a "consulting-first" mindset-ideally honed within a Big 4 environment-you will design and deliver scalable architecture, navigate ambiguous business requirements, and enable client self-sufficiency through structured knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Architecture & Selection: Architect end-to-end data solutions (Lakehouse, Mesh, or Warehouse) using Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Data Factory.

- You are expected to recommend tech stacks based on total cost of ownership (TCO) and business fit, not just technical familiarity.

- End-to-End Delivery Leadership: Own the delivery lifecycle from hypothesis-driven discovery and requirements gathering to deployment and SLA stabilization.

- Executive Stakeholder Orchestration: Simplify multi-layered technical challenges into high-impact narratives for C-suite audiences.

- Lead workshops and steering committee meetings to drive consensus on critical data decisions.

- Data Enablement & Governance: Establish robust access governance and reporting frameworks that ensure data quality, regulatory compliance (GDPR/DPDP), and operational transparency.

- Knowledge Asset Creation: Develop reusable frameworks, "accelerator" code libraries, and comprehensive documentation to reduce client dependency and improve internal delivery speed.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Consulting Pedigree: 8-12 years of professional experience, with a significant tenure in a top-tier management or technology consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG).

- Technical Fluency: - Expert-level SQL and Python for data engineering and analysis.

- Proven hands-on delivery in Databricks (Spark), Snowflake, or Azure Data Factory.

- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and modern data modeling (Vault, Star Schema).

- Cross-Cloud Mastery: Ability to navigate and deploy solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP, understanding the nuances of each provider's data services.

- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience delivering data solutions within high-compliance sectors such as BFSI, Healthcare, or Retail.

- Structured Problem Solving: Mastery of MECE (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) frameworks and hypothesis-driven approaches to decompose "wicked" business problems.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications: Databricks Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake Pro, or Lead Cloud Architect certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).

- Advanced Degree: MBA or Master's in Data Science/Engineering from a premier institution.

- Transformation Experience: Lead-level involvement in a large-scale ($5M+) digital or data transformation program.
