Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified
Experience: Minimum 18 years, preferably 20+ years
Industry Preference:
We are seeking a seasoned finance leader with a strong background in the manufacturing sector, ideally from companies that are Limited and Listed (either currently listed or previously listed).
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience across both plant-level operations and the corporate office, with hands-on involvement in managing multiple units.
- A strong track record of leading and mentoring finance teams, with at least 20 team members under direct supervision.
- Experience from organizations with a minimum turnover of 800 crore, demonstrating the ability to work in a complex and growth-oriented environment.
Core Expertise Required:
- Fundraising and managing relationships with investors.
- Handling audit, finance & accounts, taxation, secretarial functions, board meetings, and preparation of balance sheets.
- Experience with IPO processes (optional but preferred).
- Strong exposure to banking and finance, including financial planning, cash flow management, and cost control.
- Proficient in preparing financial models and driving financial strategies.
- Adept at identifying financial risks, proposing corrective actions, and advising on revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Experience in developing budgeting processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
- Advise on long-term financial planning and business strategy.
- Provide commercial insights to meet and exceed business targets.
- Embed a robust risk and compliance framework across the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, external stakeholders, and investors.
- Analyze and propose action plans to meet financial objectives.
- Manage cash flows, monitor billing cycles, and oversee client payments.
- Handle all taxation-related documentation and compliance.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial scenarios, including regular communication with banks for effective fund management.
- Lead the Finance, Accounts, MIS, and Taxation functions while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Identify and address financial risks and deficiencies and develop strategic solutions.
- Forecast short-term and long-term financial needs aligned with business and project plans, and ensure cost-effective fund mobilization.
- Contribute to the companys overall growth, profitability, and strategic expansion through effective financial leadership.
