Role Overview


We are looking for a Manager - Partnerships & Alliances to lead strategic collaborations with top private universities across India.


This is a senior, high-impact role where you will engage directly with university leadership - Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Deans - to forge long-term, high-value partnerships.


You will be responsible for driving alliances that enable universities to launch and scale Allied Health Science programs through revenue-sharing models, ensuring both academic excellence and sustainable business growth.


The ideal candidate is a confident relationship builder, a strategic thinker, and a trusted advisor capable of influencing senior stakeholders and translating opportunities into impactful collaborations.


Key Responsibilities


A. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships


- Identify and develop partnerships with top-tier NAAC A, A+, and A++ private universities across India.


- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners and manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle - from outreach and engagement to closure and onboarding.


- Establish deep, trust-based relationships with senior university leaders and decision-makers.


- Lead partnership discussions and negotiations to secure win-win agreements aligned with Virohan's growth goals.


Sector & Market Expertise


- Develop an in-depth understanding of Allied Health Sciences and the higher education ecosystem to position yourself as a domain expert.


- Stay up to date with UGC guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends in healthcare education.


- Monitor market movements and competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and strategic directions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


- Work closely with internal teams and partner universities to ensure seamless handover and successful program implementation.


- Collaborate with Partner Success and Academic teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for universities and students alike.


- Drive operational excellence and ensure partnerships deliver long-term value.


Experience & Skills Requirements


Experience:


- 2-6 years of experience in B2B sales, strategic partnerships, or account management, preferably engaging with universities or large institutions.


- Proven success in managing C-suite or senior academic relationships and closing large, consultative deals.


- Strong existing network within the higher education ecosystem is highly desirable.


Skills:


- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.


- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.


- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating cross-functionally
