Job Title: Manager - Finance (GL Accounting and Finance Reporting) Location: Gurugram Department: Finance Reports To: Finance Controller Job Summary: The Manager - Finance (GL Accounting and Finance Reporting) is responsible for overseeing the general ledger accounting and financial reporting functions. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GL accounting and financial reporting, with a focus on compliance and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts. - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for significant differences. - Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits and provide necessary documentation. - Develop and implement financial reporting processes and systems. - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. - Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs. - Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on the organization. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in GL accounting and financial reporting. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. - Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good communication and interpersonal skills.
