The Role:
COO will lead the company's strategic, operational, and commercial functions with a strong focus on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and client retention. The role demands a mix of strategic leadership, industry expertise, and on-ground presence to represent the company in high-stakes scenarios, ensuring confidence and clarity in client-facing situations.
Key responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute annual and multi-year business plans aligned with company vision.
- Drive revenue growth through new market development, product line expansion, and key account scaling.
2. Operational Excellence
- Oversee production, supply chain, and quality compliance ensuring WHO-GMP and regulatory adherence.
- Build and refine SOPs to achieve consistent output, reduced wastage, and optimized resources.
3. Client Representation & High-Stakes Engagements
- Personally represent the company in large client meetings, exhibitions, and critical events where top-level assurance, negotiation, and relationship building are essential.
- Provide clear, confident business presentations and address client queries with authority.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve performance objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
5. Pharmaceutical Domain Expertise
- Maintain deep understanding of pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing regulations, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure all operations comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Required qualification and skills:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10-12 years' leadership experience in pharmaceutical/derma manufacturing or related sectors.
- Strong track record in business growth, client retention, and operational leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
