Responsibilities:
1. Technical Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of our chemical products, their applications, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the chemical sector.
2. Customer Engagement and Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and offer technical solutions.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations for customers.
- Promotion of all products and generating leads for development.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with important customers.
- Address technical inquiries, resolve customer concerns, and provide product recommendations based on client needs.
- Regular follow ups on development projects and timely reporting.
4. Sales Strategy and Market Expansion:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategic sales plans and growth initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for our chemical products.
- Regular customer vsit with sales team for new as well as ongoing developments.
5. Project Coordination and Support:
- Coordinate technical projects and trials with customers to showcase product performance and suitability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers during product implementation and use.
- Conduct joint trials
- Arrange Principal visit
- Update CRM software on pipe projects and regular updates.
6. Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge and technical selling techniques.
- Stay engaged in continuous learning to enhance technical expertise and sales capabilities.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular visit reports, performance metrics, and market analysis for management review.
- Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools to track customer interactions and sales activities.
- Prepare Competitive analysis
- Prepare Principal development Reports
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in technical sales, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical products, formulations, and applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach to sales.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical sales tools.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
