Job Title - Regional Sales Manager (Mumbai) Corporate Growth Role (B2B)

Short Job:

Senior B2B marketing and business development leader to build and lead the marketing function for a 50-year corporate organization. Must be accountable, commercially driven, fluent in English, aggressive about growth, and capable of learning a new industry quickly and delivering results.

Role Summary:

- We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager of Marketing & Business Development to architect and drive growth across sales expansion, marketing strategy, and brand visibility for a well-established corporate organization. This is a higher-mid level leadership role where the incumbent will set up the marketing department from the ground up, recruit and lead a sales/marketing team, align initiatives with long-term company goals, and personally drive business development and client relationships.

- Industry-specific experience is not mandatory. Candidates from strong B2B, industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, engineering, services, or technology-led environments are encouraged, provided they demonstrate the ability to learn the domain quickly and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Growth Leadership:

- Develop integrated growth strategies covering sales expansion, market penetration, new client acquisition, and brand visibility.

- Translate organizational vision and future business goals into actionable marketing and sales roadmaps with clear timelines and revenue impact.

Marketing - Sales Alignment:

- Ensure all marketing initiatives are directly aligned with short-term and long-term business objectives.

- Design campaigns, channel strategies, budgets, and KPIs that support sustainable growth and profitability.

Team Building & Department Setup:

- Recruit, onboard, and lead sales executives and marketing professionals.

- Create a clear organizational structure for the marketing function with defined roles, responsibilities, accountability metrics, and reporting lines.

- Build a performance-driven culture with regular reviews and outcome-based evaluations.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management:

- Personally drive business development for key accounts and strategic opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, channel partners, suppliers, and external stakeholders.

- Establish structured client relationship management practices to improve retention, cross-selling, and long-term value.

Execution & Performance Ownership:

- Oversee execution across demand generation (digital marketing, events, partnerships, PR), sales enablement, proposals, and lead conversion.

- Implement CRM and reporting systems to track pipeline, conversions, and ROI.

- Take full ownership of growth numbers and ensure marketing efforts translate into tangible business results.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 5 to 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, business development, or sales leadership roles.


- Industrial sales experience preferred

- Proven experience in building or scaling marketing and sales functions within established organizations.

- Strong exposure to corporate environments, structured decision-making, and senior stakeholder engagement.

- Experience in industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, services, technology, or enterprise B2B ecosystems preferred.

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
