Business Development Manager - AI Solutions


Job Summary:


- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives and expand our footprint in the Indian market.

- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B sales and business development, specifically within the technology or AI/SaaS solutions space.

- You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall revenue growth of company.


Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities, target segments, and market trends within organization's focus industries (Travel, Transport, Hospitality, Logistics, Telecom, etc.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.

- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including networking, industry events, cold outreach, and referrals.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.

- Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client organizations.
Understand their business challenges and pain points to effectively position organization's AI solutions.

- Solution Selling & Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams (AI Research, Product Development, Solutions Architects) to understand client requirements, tailor solutions, and develop compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches that clearly articulate the value proposition of our's offerings.

- Negotiation & Closing: Lead complex contract negotiations, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and ensuring successful deal closures that align with organization's business objectives.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, successful project execution, and ongoing client satisfaction.

- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development activities, proactively reporting on progress against targets to senior management.

- Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, industry-specific trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications:


Education:


- Mandatory: MBA from a Tier 1 or 2 Business School (IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS or equivalent).

- Preferred: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.


Experience:


- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

- Experience in IT product sales or IT sales, particularly with SaaS or AI solutions, is highly desirable
